110 LGV vans fitted with modular kits for Spartan Motor Factors

When it comes to large-scale fleet branding, precision, consistency, and efficiency are everything. That was the challenge behind our latest project, branding 110 Citroën Berlingo vans for Spartan Motor Factors, supplied through Vanaways.

At this level, it’s not just about completing the work. It’s about delivering it quickly, seamlessly, and without disrupting operations.

The priority was simple: keep the rollout moving and get vehicles on the road fast, looking consistent, sharp, and ready to represent the brand.

The Challenge

Spartan Motor Factors needed a full fleet of vehicles ready for use within a tight window. With 110 vehicles physically ready to go at once, there was no margin for delay. Every vehicle needed to be turned around quickly, branded, checked, and deployed.

This wasn’t a one-off install. It was a live rollout, where timing, coordination, and efficiency were critical.

A Smarter Way to Roll Out a Fleet

Rather than treating this as one large job, the project was broken down into a controlled, repeatable process.

Vehicles were scheduled in batches to align with transporter deliveries, keeping everything flowing without bottlenecks. Graphics were produced in advance, removing any risk of downtime between stages. Install teams worked in a continuous, structured flow, not stop-start, allowing each van to be completed efficiently.

Using Brandfixx modular kits, each vehicle could be fully branded — including roof coverage — in just 5 hours by a single installer.

That level of efficiency fundamentally changed the pace of the rollout.

Across the full fleet, this resulted in:

  • 1,210 hours saved compared to traditional wrapping methods
  • Equivalent to 11 hours saved per vehicle
  • A total time saving of 135 working days (based on a 9-hour day)

This meant Spartan’s vehicles didn’t sit idle. They were branded and back on the road as quickly as possible.

No Drop in Quality

Speed doesn’t mean compromise.

Across all 110 vehicles, the finish remained consistent from the first van to the last. That came down to clear, standardised install processes, experienced installers working efficiently, and ongoing quality checks throughout the rollout.

Onsite project management from the Brandfixx™ head installer ensured everything stayed aligned.

The result is a fleet that looks uniform, professional, and built to represent the brand properly, exactly where modular branding proves its value.

Built for Change, Not Just Install

Partway through the rollout, Spartan Motor Factors made the decision to refine their branding and adopt a sharper marketing strategy.

With traditional wraps, this would typically mean stripping and rewrapping vehicles — adding cost, downtime, and the risk of inconsistencies.

Because this fleet was built using modular kits, we were able to reproduce and replace specific sections of the livery quickly and cost-effectively.

There was no need for full re-wraps, no lengthy vehicle downtime, and no issues with colour matching between old and new graphics.

The fleet evolved mid-project without disrupting the rollout, something that simply isn’t possible with traditional methods.

Working in Sync with Vehicle Supply

Close coordination with Vanaways played a key role in keeping the project on track.

Because vehicle delivery and branding were aligned:

  • There were no unnecessary delays between handover and installation
  • The workflow remained consistent throughout
  • The rollout progressed without bottlenecks

It’s this kind of joined-up approach that allows large-scale projects to move efficiently from start to finish.

Measurable Environmental Impact

Efficiency wasn’t just about time, it also delivered significant environmental benefits.

By using modular kits instead of traditional full wraps, the project achieved:

  • 573.96kg of CO₂ saved
  • Equivalent to 1,230.87 diesel driving miles
  • Comparable to planting 4,103 trees

For businesses increasingly focused on sustainability, this adds another layer of value to how fleet branding is delivered.

Immediate Impact on the Road

With newly branded vans deployed in a short space of time, Spartan Motor Factors instantly increased its visibility.

Instead of a gradual rollout over months, their presence scaled rapidly, creating a stronger, more noticeable impact across their operating areas almost immediately.

What This Project Demonstrates

This project is a clear example of what’s possible when fleet branding is handled properly:

  • Large volumes don’t have to mean long delays
  • Speed and quality can work together
  • Fleet branding can adapt as your business evolves
  • The right process turns complex rollouts into a smooth, controlled operation

For businesses investing in their fleet, that combination is what turns vehicles into a genuine, high-performing marketing asset.
