Less vehicle downtime
Faster installation helps get working vehicles back on the road sooner.
Simpler damage repairs
Individual sections can be replaced rather than removing large areas of otherwise perfectly good branding.

Brandfixx pioneered modular vehicle branding after recognising that the traditional approach to commercial vehicle wrapping wasn't designed around the needs of working vehicles and fleets.
Working within the vehicle branding industry, father and son Dave and Greg Saunderson experienced these challenges first-hand. They understood the time, cost and waste involved in traditional wrapping because they were working with those limitations themselves.
Vehicles could be off the road for days while wraps were installed. Damage to one area could mean removing and replacing a much larger section of vinyl. Rebranding was time-consuming and costly, while fitting, removal and replacement generated significant material waste.
Across a large fleet, those problems were multiplied.
Dave and Greg knew there had to be a better way.
So, in 2020, they set out to rethink vehicle branding from the ground up.
The result was Brandfixx – the pioneering modular vehicle branding system, developed to solve the very problems they had experienced themselves.
Today, modular vehicle branding is becoming increasingly recognised across the industry. For Brandfixx, it isn't a new trend.
It's the system we've been developing, refining and proving since 2020.

What if we stopped thinking about wraps?
Rather than trying to make traditional wrapping a little faster or cheaper, Dave and Greg approached the problem differently.
What if you didn't need to wrap the whole vehicle?
What if branding could be installed in individual sections?
What if a damaged section could simply be replaced without disturbing everything around it?
And what if the whole system could be designed around keeping commercial vehicles where they belong – on the road and working?
Those questions led to the development of the Brandfixx modular vehicle branding system.
Instead of applying large areas of vinyl directly across a vehicle, Brandfixx developed individual branded sections, precision-designed around its shape and contours.
It fundamentally changed the way vehicle branding could be fitted, repaired, replaced and managed throughout the working life of a vehicle.
Discover how modular vehicle branding works

A system designed around working vehicles
From the outset, Brandfixx wasn't developed simply to make vehicle branding look different.
It was designed to solve practical problems.
Faster installation helps get working vehicles back on the road sooner.
Individual sections can be replaced rather than removing large areas of otherwise perfectly good branding.
Repair and replacement can be focused on the sections that actually need attention.
New vehicles, replacement vehicles and branding updates can be incorporated more easily while maintaining a consistent identity.
A modular approach avoids replacing perfectly serviceable branding simply because one area has been damaged.
What began as a solution to the limitations of traditional wrapping became a completely different approach to commercial vehicle branding.

Thousands of vehicles scanned. Years of knowledge built in.
Precision is fundamental to modular branding.
That's why 3D scanning has become such an important part of the Brandfixx system.
Since 2020, Brandfixx has 3D scanned thousands of vehicles, plant and specialist equipment, building an extensive and continually growing library of precision vehicle data and templates.
Different manufacturers, models, body configurations and specialist applications all present their own challenges. Years spent scanning them have given the Brandfixx team an increasingly detailed understanding of how modular branding needs to be designed for different vehicles and equipment.
But the real advantage isn't simply the number of vehicles we've scanned.
It's everything we've learned from doing it.
Every scan adds to our library. Every template adds to our technical knowledge. Every kit adds to our manufacturing experience. And every installation gives us more real-world insight into how the system performs.
Thousands of scans. Thousands of installations. Years of accumulated knowledge.
Being first gave Brandfixx a head start.
We've been building on it ever since.

From solving a problem to pioneering a new approach
Developing the original concept was only the beginning.
Since Brandfixx was founded, we've continued to refine the scanning, design, production and installation processes behind the system.
Our specialist team brings those disciplines together, enabling Brandfixx to manage the modular branding process from the initial vehicle scan and artwork through to production and installation.
Today, the Brandfixx system is used across commercial vehicles, HGVs, plant and machinery, material handling equipment and specialist vehicles.
What started as a solution to a problem with traditional wrapping has developed into a proven alternative for businesses operating everything from individual specialist vehicles to large national fleets.

Proven at scale
An idea is only as good as its performance in the real world.
Since Brandfixx was founded, the system has grown from an innovative solution into one that has been used across thousands of working vehicles and pieces of equipment.
5,000+ modular branding kits fitted
Thousands of vehicles and equipment 3D scanned
5,000+ fitting days saved
£1.8m+ saved for customers
1,000+ tonnes CO2e saved
Behind those numbers are vehicles and equipment working every day across construction, civil engineering, plant hire and other demanding industries.

Designed for the whole life of a vehicle
The challenges of traditional wrapping don't end when a vehicle leaves the fitting bay.
Commercial vehicles and machinery get scratched and damaged. Fleets grow and change. Vehicles are replaced. Businesses rebrand. Graphics need updating.
Brandfixx was designed with that entire lifecycle in mind.
If one branded section becomes damaged, that section can be replaced independently. When a new vehicle joins a fleet, a precision-fit kit can be produced to maintain brand consistency. When part of a livery changes, individual elements can be updated without necessarily starting again with the entire vehicle.
For larger fleets, these seemingly small differences can become significant when multiplied across tens, hundreds or thousands of assets.

Tackling the waste problem too
Traditional wrapping also presented another problem to be addressed: waste.
Large quantities of vinyl can be required to wrap a vehicle, with further material used whenever branding is removed, repaired or replaced.
Brandfixx takes a more targeted approach.
Using individual modular sections means damaged branding can be replaced where necessary without automatically removing material that remains perfectly serviceable.
And we haven't simply assumed that makes modular branding more sustainable.
The carbon impact of the Brandfixx system has been assessed to understand and quantify the environmental difference the approach can make.

Why does being the original matter?
Modular vehicle branding is becoming better known, and that's a positive development.
More businesses are recognising that traditional wrapping isn't the only way to brand a commercial vehicle.
But Brandfixx hasn't recently adopted a modular approach.
We've been developing it since 2020.
That means years spent 3D scanning thousands of vehicles and equipment. Years refining templates. Years developing production and fitting processes. Thousands of modular kits manufactured and installed. And years learning how the system performs on working vehicles in real-world environments.
Being the original isn't simply about being able to say we were here first.
It's about everything we've learned since.

The problem started it. Innovation keeps it moving
Dave and Greg founded Brandfixx because their experience within the vehicle branding industry convinced them there had to be a better way.
That same thinking continues to drive Brandfixx today.
Every vehicle we scan, every new application we develop and every fleet we work with adds to our knowledge and helps us continue refining the system.
As modular vehicle branding becomes increasingly established within the industry, Brandfixx continues to develop the approach it pioneered.
We experienced the problem. We created a different solution. And we've been improving it ever since.
